One cannot fail but wonder at Aerobility's dramatic flight in Tecnam P2006T G-TECT to open the London 2012 Paralympics and how that flypast has inspired so many people with disabilities to consider taking to the air too.

Tim Orchard of Tecnam UK and Mike Miller-Smith of Aerobilty have established a very special bond and this has led to today's announcement that Aerobility is upgrading its aeroplane fleet with the Tecnam P2002JF.

Tecnam's Capua based R&D team have been integral in this programme to develop a next-generation aircraft for disabled pilots.

See later posts for the progress of this unique version of the Tecnam aeroplane.
